[RESULTS] Team GB’s Mark Slater Wins Frostbite Race #1

California wasn’t the only place racing on the weekend. Over in the UK, the locals were braving the winter chill to get their own fix of Stand Up Paddle racing.

The first Baysup Frostbite Race Series event of the year was held on Saturday in Bournemouth, U.K.

The big winner of the main 7.5km race was Mark Slater, who romped it home in a time of 54:03 on his 12’6. Not only did he dominate the other stock boards, he also beat home every single 14′ and Unlimited paddler as well.

No wonder Mark recently got selected to represent Great Britain at the ISA World Standup Paddle Championship.
