The event set plenty of records this year, with Connor Baxter taking out the SUP race in a record time of 4 hrs 13 minutes, just seconds ahead of Dave Kalama. Meanwhile Kai Lenny continued to push things forward, grabbing third overall on his stock 14 footer (as compared to the 17 and 18 ft. boards of Baxter, Kalama and most of the rest of the field).
