Brazil from Above: Drone Footage from the Massive ‘Aloha Spirit’ Paddle Festival

How’s this for a race? Check out this drone footage of the mass start at a recent SUP race in Brazil.

This is from the ‘Aloha Spirit’ Paddle Festival, which, as the name suggests, is a combination of all types of paddling but with a pretty strong focus on stand up.

The Aloha Spirit Festival has been running the past few years and always seems to attract a massive crowd, though this is surely its biggest event yet. The series continues next month — more on the official Facebook page.

Brazil definitely has the potential to be a powerhouse in the world of stand up paddling, so it’s great to see the sport alive and well in the country.

In case 2 minutes is too long, here’s a 20 second highlights reel I mashed together — thanks to SKC Produçoes for the awesome footage.
