There’s just something about aerial videos that makes SUP racing look better.

Whether it’s the bird-eye view or simply the pure novelty of seeing a different perspective, filming from a drone or a chopper always turns out pretty darn rad no matter what race is being captured. However when that race just happens to have FIVE HUNDRED paddlers in the water right below the camera, the result looks totally epic.

Check out this awesome aerial clip from yesterday’s massive Hanohano race in San Diego and you’ll see exactly what I mean…
