Check out the full highlights reel from the French Riviera, where the 7th Annual SUP Race Cup in St. Maxime marked Week 3 of the 2016 EuroTour presented by Starboard.

Most of the footage focuses on the 15k distance race on Sunday, where Michael Booth paddled away from the all-star field to announce himself as a genuine contender on the world stage.

Boothy’s stiffest competition came from the three guys in the main chase group: Connor Baxter, Titouan Puyo and Tahitian dark horse Steeve Teihotaata. They couldn’t close the gap around the distance course, however Connor remained just close enough to retain the overall event title by less than 10 seconds based on combined times from Saturday’s Beach Race + Sunday’s distance event.

Germany’s Sonni Hönscheid was similarly impressive in the women’s, crossing the line well clear of the fight for second between Seychelle Hattingh of Florida, Hood River’s Fiona Wylde, and Olivia Piana of France. Sonni also took out the course race on Saturday by a wide margin, giving her a comprehensive clean sweep of the weekend.

Watch above and enjoy, then check back on the weekend for LIVE coverage of the big Lost Mills showdown, which is shaping up to be one of the single most competitive events of the year.
