Battle of the Nations: Hawaiians Overtake the Aussies, Brazil Surges Back into the Top 10

Battle of the Nations stand up paddling

We’ve just updated the Battle of the Nations leaderboard with all the big results from the past six weeks, including the awesome JM Survivor Race in Huntington on Sunday.

While the almighty Team USA is still out on top of our country-vs-country world rankings, thanks mainly to their supreme dominance on the women’s side of the sport, it’s a very tight battle between the Aussies and Hawaiians for the number two spot, with Mo Freitas’ heroics at Huntington helping the Islands overtake their Green & Gold rivals.

This week also sees the Brazilians storm back into the top 10 where we all know they belong, while there’s been plenty of movement in the bottom half of the table as well. Check out the full Battle of the Nations leaderboard to see which nations have been enjoying the summer the most, then get ready for more changes following the 6-star Gorge Paddle Challenge this weekend…
