Results from the 2012 Cold Stroke Classic stand up paddle race. Held at Wrightsville Beach, North Carolina on 21st January.

Sounds like it was a pretty hardcore race in extremely windy conditions. More than 30% of paddlers were listed as DNF (Did Not Finish), which gives you some idea of how tough it must have been.

Dan Gavere won the men’s elite race, while Heather Baus took out the women’s.
