Butterfly Effect SUP on Maui
Check out this awesome shot from Maui last week, where over 300 women participated in the Butterfly Effect SUP event.

This wasn’t actually a SUP race (the event was explicitly “non-competitive”), but still, it’s hundreds of people stand up paddling in the ocean off Maui… C’mon, that’s close enough for us.

The Butterfly Effect, which labels itself the “Original Waterwoman Movement”, encourages women to gain confidence by getting out into the ocean and paddling, surfing or kiting. The group holds events across the world though Maui seems to be their home, as this was the 7th Annual event on the island.

Now, if we could just convince all 300 of these women to enter the OluKai race this weekend… that would be a sight…
