Highlights From Jersey’s Battle Of The Rock

A couple of solid highlight reels from the 2014 Battle of the Rock race that was held on Jersey last month.

Seems like Jersey is becoming a bit of a paddling hub these days (we’re talking about the isle of Jersey, not the American Jersey…). The island has a strong local race series, some epic downwind conditions and is now seeing some of the international names come over and compete.

The island also looks like a pretty damn nice spot for paddling in general.

The Battle of the Rock attracted a strong field from the locals to the UK mainland and France, however one guy stole the show: Titouan Puyo.

Titou mastered both the distance and course races to make it a clean sweep of the event. If you take a look at just how smooth his technique is (skip to the 3:46 mark of the first vid) you’ll see why this guy is so fast…
