The Final Countdown: 2013 European SUP Racing Tour Ends This Weekend

European SUP Racing Tour presented by NSP
We’re just a few days away from the end of the massive European SUP Racing Tour presented by NSP, which has drawn a whole stack of the world’s best Stand Up Paddlers to Europe over the past six weeks.

There’s been some amazing racing in France, Germany, Spain and Belgium, and now we’ve got just one more event to cap off the six week Tour and nudge the total prize purse over the $80k mark…

After $75,000 was awarded at the SUP Race Cup, Lost Mills, Summer SUP Challenge, Oleron SUP Challenge, Deep SUP Race, Bilbao World Paddle Challenge and the Happy Summer SUP Race, it’s time for the Massilia SUP Race to take the spotlight and, with $6,000 on the line, fill the pot to the brim.

The 2013 Massilia SUP Race will be happening this Saturday in Marseille, France; a fitting location that sits just an hour or two down the road from St. Maxime, where this whole Tour started six weeks ago.

Look for France’s finest to shine, especially in the women’s race where the back-and-forth battle for the #1 spot between Olivia Piana and Celine Guesdon will continue. No matter who wins, we’ll keep you posted after the weekend with full results and photos from Marseille.

In the meantime you can catch up with all the craziness of the past six weeks over on our European SUP Racing Tour mini-site.
